If you’ve ever watched any movie or seen any clothing ad with rock formations on the beach, chances are you have seen Matador Beach. It boasts stunning views of sunset with its ubiquitous rock formations and cliffs. At low tide, this beach allows for a lot of play and even getting into the keyhole of its most photographed formation. While you will not be the only couple being photographed there, there is plenty of space to run around, especially if you book an off season and week night shoot. Just be aware traffic on the PCH at rush hour can be heavy!
