I'm Emma, an elopement, intimate wedding, and engagement photographer based in Venice Beach. For the last 10 years I have called coastal Los Angeles my home and I never plan on leaving. Surfing in Malibu, backpacking the John Muir Trail, sunrise hikes in Yosemite, camping and road tripping to Tahoe and Big Sur, and snowboarding in Mammoth, are just a few of the reasons I love to call Southern California my home.

After planning my own non-traditional wedding, I became a go-to person in my friend group for advice on how to make your wedding truly yours. I became inspired to help others celebrate in a way that fits their personality and relationship. My photography has brought me to some of the coolest spots in California, where I feel honored to help plan and document my couples' dream elopements.

I'm here to capture you becoming adventure buddies for life.

Besides offering beautiful photos, I am also here to help from planning your dream elopement start to finish.

let's get to know each other first

In 2016, my husband and I got married, quit our careers and traveled the world for 5 months. We spent time road tripping in South Africa, going on a canoe safari in Botswana and swimming in Devil's Pool atop Victoria Falls. After that we jetted to Bangkok and went diving in Koh Tao, food touring in Malaysia, a kayak, snorkel and dive trip in a remote area of Indonesia and ending up in Bali for the last week of our trip. We even met friends from Australia on a long layover in Tokyo for sushi, sake and beers!
This trip was a game changer for how I wanted to live my life. I didn't want to be stuck in a classroom teaching anymore and wanted to live a much more creative and free lifestyle. I had been taking photos for years and decided to give it a real shot, and fell in love with documenting couples in some of the most beautiful places in California.
