If you’ve been researching elopements, you may see the words “adventure elopement” together quite often. And let me tell you that you do not need to be team extreme to do an adventure elopement. Think of an adventure elopement as a full day experience that you spend together doing the things you love together, or that you want to try, in any location.
Jessica and Jessee wanted to elope somewhere that was new for both of them. Even though they had both grown up in Southern California, they hadn’t ever explored Big Sur, so they decided their elopement day was the best time to do so. They started with getting ready in a cabin in the Redwoods at Big Sur Lodge, where they also did their first look. Then they hopped into their vintage car and headed up to the ceremony spot on the cliffside with stunning views. Afterwards, we headed to the beach for a picnic and some beach portraits and playing. Lastly, we went back to the bluffs for a sunset walk and first dance.
